Yesterday, I watched the movie Unlocked from 2017 on Netflix. It was way better than I expected, especially considering the fact that I had never heard about the movie before. Noomi Rapace plays the role of a lady working at an immigration office in London. She is a former CIA agent, who retired from that work after an incident in Paris several years back in time. She is still working counter-terrorism, giving of tips whenever she discovers potential threats or suspsicious people.
We also meet an imam who needs to send a message to a man with great power and chemical weapons. The messenger is taken captive, and now they want to find out what the message sent from the imam really was about. This is were Noomi Rapace gets into the story, as she has to interrogate the messenger to get the message. And from here on the story is packed with interesting twists and turns, making it a real treat to watch!

I am a big fan of the Fox series 24 in which we met Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Bauer, the leader of the CTU (Counter Terrorist Unit) in the United States. It was a fantastic show, and it had such a high pace and lots of bombs to be disarmed within a few minutes, that you never had the time to go to the toilet while watching.
Unlocked is only a movie, but it for sure brought back the atmosphere of 24, something I deeply appreciated.
