One of the greatest war-movies in 2017 was Dunkirk, directed by Christopher Nolan. You can now watch Dunkirk on Netflix if you haven’t seen it yet.
You can, of course, watch Dunkirk on Netflix even if you have seen it before, but if you are like me, then watching Dunkirk once is more than enough. It was a good movie, but it wasn’t a movie I would spend time watching once more. I know it won several awards, and I know that Mr. Nolan did a great job with the movie… but I still only enjoyed it a bit. Maybe I had to big expectations, or maybe it just didn’t manage to catch my interest the way I hoped it would.
I guess I am the main problem, but it gives me a bit of comfort to see that the audience score at Rotten Tomatoes is only 81%. The critics’ score is higher (above 90%), but the general audience agrees a bit more with me at least. I guess I would have given the movie a 70% score if I had to give it a score myself.
But, if you like war movies, and if you like movies based on true events, then Dunkirk is still a treat worth watching. And now it has just turned easier as Dunkirk can be streamed on Netflix. But, not everywhere… only in a few countries.
Watch Dunkirk on Netflix
As of July 2018, you can watch Dunkirk in the following Netflix regions.
- Norway
- Sweden
- Denmark
- Japan
- Australia
If you want to watch Dunkirk on Netflix, but do not live in any of the mentioned countries, I do know a way in which you can access Australian Netflix all across the world. Click the link for more information on how that can be done.
What score would you give Dunkirk?
I said that I would give Dunkirk a 70% score if I had to rate it. What score would you give it? Why did you like it/dislike it? I would love to hear your thoughts about the movie!
