Yesterday I wanted to check if my instructions on how to access UK Netflix still works. As I did the test, I discovered the movie The Foreigner with Pierce Brosnan and Jackie Chan!
I didn’t know anything about the movie, but it was something about it that made me curious. I have never seen a Jackie Chan movie earlier, so I thought now would be a perfect time to give it a try. I sat down, and it didn’t take many minutes before I saw the daughter of the character of Jackie Chan blown up in an explosion in London. And that is the storyline of the movie, how our Chinaman (Jackie Chan) does everything in his power to find out who did the crime and to bring judgment upon them.
Would you like to watch The Foreigner on Netflix?
It can only be seen in a few Netflix regions, and UK Netflix is one of them. You can read more about how to access UK Netflix, American Netflix, Canadian Netflix and other Netflix regions at netflix.fromabroad.org.
One of the first things I did as I watched the movie was to check Pierce Brosnan on Wikipedia. He spoke with a crazy Irish accent, and I couldn’t image that he has learned that accent. So I checked him up and discovered that he is half Irish, making it easy for him to speak with an Irish accent in this movie.
Is it worth watching The Foreigner?
I enjoyed watching the movie, but it wasn’t a movie that made my hands sweat, nor did I have a hard time taking a break from the movie (and then continue watching it later). I don’t regret spending some hours watching it, but it isn’t some sort of new favorite movie of mine.
The Foreigner has a 72% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, something that should be considered a good score.
