The story of Postman Pat: The Movie is about the friendly postman, Postman Pat who has been delivering letters for years in the small village called Greendale in North of England. Pat wants to take her wife, Sara to a late honeymoon in Italy which he planned for a long time. Pat wants to cover the expenses with the bonus from his employer but his new boss canceled all the bonuses. At home when Pat was about to explain his wife the honeymoon is canceled, he saw a talent show on TV in which the winner will be awarded with a trip to Italy so Pat decides to give it a try.
Postman Pat got generally average feedbacks from the critics, some of them highly praised the film’s direction, the voice acting and humour, on the other hand the others found it complicated and too scary compared to the television series.
