Arrival was one of the most praised movies in all of 2016. It just arrived on Amazon.com and you can now rent or buy the movie. Is it worth doing so?
I just watched it myself, as I never got the chance to watch Arrival in the cinema. I had great expectations to the movie, but I knew very little actually about the movie. That is why I started to watch it with no big clue about what I was about to watch. I of course knew that it had to do with aliens and aliens coming to earth, but if this was to become a new Independence Day, or maybe a Contact, I did not really know.
Now I have seen it, and if you want to stream Arrival online as well, then you can easily do so now at Amazon.com. If you are the kind of guy or girl who only watch a movie once, then it is for sure recommended only to rent the movie, which only cost around 1/3 compared to the price for purchasing the movie.
Is it worth watch Arrival?
After watching Arrival, I guess I must say that I was a bit disappointed. It probably was somehow like what I expected, but it wasn’t as good as I expected it to be. It was brilliant, at least some of my family members says so, and the story and the turns in the story was what made it such a great movie.
I guess the problem might be me. I like action, I like straight forward movies (normally), and this movie was neither packed with action, and it was not straight forward. It had some great turns to it (which I did like), but for some reason I would never consider watching Arrival for a second time. It was way too boring for that.
