Mortdecai has arrived on Amazon Prime

Mortdecai on Amazon PrimeMortdecai was a film I looked very much forward to watch in 2015, but unfortunately it disappointed me. Now you can watch Mortdecai on Amazon Prime, or watch it as an Instant Video.

Mortdecai feels a bit like a modern version of the Pink Panther, except from the fact that I liked the role played by Steve Martin as Inspector Clouseau much better than I liked the role played by Johnny Depp in Mortdecai.

This is supposed to be a comedy, but it seldom made me laugh… maybe it was just me. But, it may give you a pinpoint that the film only has a 13% score on Rotten Tomatoes, 27% on Metacritic and 5,5/10 on IMDb.

What is useful is that the film can now be watched for free if you have an Amazon Prime subscription, so there is no risk actually involved in watching it since you can do so for free. If you do not have an Amazon Prime subscription you can buy the film and watch it online as an Instant Video (from all across the world), but I would of course recommend you an Amazon Prime subscription instead.

So, even though Mortdecai is full with stars in addition to Johnny Depp (it also features Gwyneth Paltrow and Ewan McGregor it really disappoints. Have you seen it? Do you think of it otherwise? Please write a comment sharing your thoughts on Mortdecai!
