Would you like to welcome the new year with a lot of laughter? Netflix is doing their best at helping you out as they launch the series Comedians of the World on January 1st in 2019.
Is humor a universal language, or is humor also a cultural phenomenon? Will you laugh at the same jokes as someone in Africa laugh, or maybe you will enjoy the humor of someone from another culture much more than the jokes of someone from a typical Western culture?
From January 1st, Netflix will do their best at helping you out and to give you an answer to the question.
In the series, Comedians of the World, you will meet a total of 47 comedians telling their jokes in eight different languages as they come from 13 different regions of the world. This will be a giant blast for stand-up fans, and for those who enjoy laughing a whole lot.

It isn’t completely the same, but there is a very cool concept coming to Amazon Prime in December 2018 as well. The Amazon Original show is named LOL and it will be lead by Eugenio Derbez. LOL is an abbreviation for Last One Laughing, and this will be a competition in which comedians are locked into a room. They will do their best to make the others laugh, but if someone laughs, they have lost the battle. The last one left in the room will be the winner. Doesn’t that sound kind of cool as well?
