On May 14th in 2016 the first season of The Blacklist: Redemption was ordered. On May 12th in 2017 it was made official the no second season of The Blacklist: Redemption will be produced.
It feels strange to say that my last article here at my blog was about the arrival of The Blacklist: Redemption on NBC. Here you have my new blog post, and this time I am to tell you there will be no more episodes and seasons made of The Blacklist: Redemption.
NBC was not satisfied with the amount of viewers following The Blacklist: Redemption. And to be honest, I have to agree with them. I watched the first episode of The Blacklist: Redemption, but it totally failed to interest me, and thus I haven’t watch a single episode of the TV series since then. Instead of The Blacklist: Redemption I have been watching Prison Break, 24: Legacy, Designated Survivor and lots of other TV series. There are of course fans of The Blacklist: Redemption that will miss their new favorite, but based on the general feedback there hasn’t been many complains on the decision made by NBC.
While this means the end of Famke Janssen’s character in The Blacklist, it will mean that Ryan Eggold will return to the traditional The Blacklist again.
In a few days NBC will present the new TV series coming to our screens this autumn. I am looking forward to read more about those shows, and at the same time I should also mention that there are several other NBC shows that has been cancelled by NBC recently. Here you can see the full list of NBC shows cancelled recently.
Other NBC shows cancelled recently
- Timeless
- Emerald City
