Jack Reacher is an American thriller which was released in 2012. The movie was written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie and it is the adaption of Lie Child’s novel One Shot from 2005. The film stars Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher, who is the main character of the movie, Rosamund Pike as Helen Rodin, Richard Jenkins as Alex Rodin, David Oyelowo as Emerson, Werner Herzog as Zec Chelovek and Jai Courtney as Charlie.
The movie Jack Reacher follows Jack Reacher and his adventures how he tries to solve a seemingly unsolvable case. The movie starts with a murder of five people in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. The police soon arrives to the scene of the murder where they found fingerprints from James Barr who is a former U.S. Army sniper. During the investigation Barr is offered to choose between life in prison if he gives a full confession or guaranteed death row but instead of giving his confession he writes to a notepad ‘Get Jack Reacher’ who is a former U.S. Army Military Police Corps officer. Reacher is sure that there is something not right with the story so he teams up with the beautiful lawyer, Helen Rodin who they try to figure out who the real enemy is.
The movie Jack Reacher got generally mixed reviews and feedback. It is an above average thriller action movie with an average performance of Tom Cruise.
