The main characters in RoBocop are Joel Kinnaman as Alex Murphy who is a police detective who got injured in an explosion and transformed into a RoBocop, Gary Oldman as Dr. Dennett Norton who is a scientist, Michael Keaton as Raymond Sellars who is the CEO of Omnicorp, Samuel L. Jackson as Patrick “Pat” Novak, Abbie Cornish as Clara Murphy who is the wife of Alex, Jackie Earle Haley as Rick Mattox who is a military tactician expert and drone controller and so on. The movie RoBocop follows the story of Alex Murphy police detective. The story is set in the future, in 2028. and Omnicop is in the centre of the robot technology. Overseas drones are already used by the military forces for years which gained billions for Omnicop but the company wants more. Omnicop wants to build a half robot half human police officer and the company sees a never coming back opportunity in Alex Murphy. Alex Murphy is a loving husband, father and a cop doing his job until one day he has an accident which turns his life upside down.
The movie RoBocop got generally mixed reviews and feedbacks from the critics which fails to offer an improvement over the original. The film was mostly praised by its performances and unique style.
