Kristin Davis and Rob Lowe are quite\nbig names in the movie industry. Rob Lowe is well known from his\nroles in Code Black, a CBS series, Parks and Recreation (an NBC\nseries), and also for his roles in Californication and other series.\nKristin Davis might be most famous as one of the ladies in Sex and\nNew York, but my favorite movie with Kristin Davis is Couples\nRetreat, a hilarious movie that makes me laugh whenever I watch it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, there should be potential when Kristin Davis and Rob Lowe come together for this Christmas movie created for Netflix. Does it live up to its potential? I have recently written about the brand new Disney+ movie Noelle starring Anna Kendrick and Bill Hader, and it was a 100% boring experience. Is Holiday in the Wild doing better?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Holiday in the Wild \u2013 The extra plus<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Holiday in the Wild is a standard story about a woman that is left by her husband. She is sad and ends up traveling alone to Africa instead of with her husband. What happens in Africa? She meets a handsome man working with elephants (Rob Lowe), and of course, feelings arise in both of them. The story is so basic that it is boring. But, there is a little plus to Holiday in the Wild that still makes it better than the boring Noelle. What is that plus? Elephants!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Holiday in the Wild is about persons working with protecting and helping elephants in the country of Zambia. As a result, we get to see beautiful elephants, both young and old, and we see people who fight for their survival. Even though it is just a movie, it is still a real problem and we get some insight into what their daily lives might be like. Besides watching the elephants, we also get to see some beautiful clips from Zambia itself, making this like a nature movie with a romantic story connected to it. That is the plus making Holiday in the Wild worth watching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don’t be fooled. The story is still very boring and plain, but the elephants make it worth the while.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, if you want to get some Christmas spirit while watching a romantic love story unfold among the elephants in Zambia, Holiday in the Wild is worth the minutes spent streaming it on Netflix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
