So, here I will try to write some of the most common problems, and if you have further problems, just write a comment.<\/p>\n

This service is not available in your region<\/h3>\n

If you get an error message telling you that: “Whoops… this service is not available in your region” the problem is that you do not have a UK IP address, meaning that you are trying to watch the channels available from abroad. You need to fix this problem, and the best way of doing so is by subscribing to a VPN service. We recommend using either HideMyAss<\/a> (read my review<\/a>) or VyprVPN<\/a> (read my review<\/a>) to get yourself an IP address in the UK.<\/p>\n

Video just keeps loading and loading<\/h3>\n

If you are located in the UK, or if you use a VPN that gives you an IP address in England, but the live streams still do not work, the problem is caused by something else. Follow these steps, and you will hopefully be able to watch both live streams and programs from the library after doing so.<\/p>\n

  • Register an account with Channel 4. You will need this anyway, so better get it done at once.<\/li>\n
  • Make sure that your Windows settings is using timeline GMT 0, meaning London\/Greenwich time<\/li>\n
  • Make sure that your regional settings and your location is set to London\/United Kingdom.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    When you have changed these settings, in addition to using the IP in England, restart your browser, and maybe Windows as well if you want to, and it should be working. Good luck!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
